Default Can\'t even run one soft synth after 10.4.10 update

I know Pro Tools LE isn't qualified with 10.4.10 and I've already checked out the link here http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...art=1#1153458.

On my Mac G5 I've set up Ivory properly running from a MIDI track, to Ivory on an aux track, routed to an audio track but I can't get it to record. In fact I can't hear any audio. If I put Ivory directly onto the audio track, DISarm the Record button, I can hear audio. But if I arm the track and try to record, the meter doesn't move and no audio will record. I know it's setup properly because this is how I've recorded Ivory for the past year, I presume the problem occurred from updating OSX. Also, if I try rewiring Reason I can load ONE sample and Pro Tools will play back fine, but if I try switching to another patch, Pro Tools will lose communication with the 002 and the Apple loading-pinwheel will run infinitely.

I read in another thread that updating the firmware could help. How do I find out what version I am currently on?
