Avid Control, soft keys, numeric keyboard

I can't seem to use the numeric keypad to program softkeys with Eucon for Avid control. For example trim clip out by nudge value is cmd and +- on the numeric keyboard. I use a logitech mouse and I can program the same macro in there and it works (extend a clip in or out by 1 frame). Programming other things work fine in Eucon. It seems like just the numeric keypad. I have an Editors Keys keyboard. Anyone else have this problem or know how to resolve it?

To use special characters like the Up/Down Arrows, or the Num Pad, you can use the 'Insert Special' drop down menu when programming a key in EuControl.

Keypad + is: '\p+' for example.
