Cant update to protools 10hd after lion upgrade?

Hello, I'm hoping somone can help me with this.
I was running protools 9.05 on snow leopard and
i upgraded to Lion 10.7.3 and it trashed pt9. i read about
that and am trying to rememdy the problem. So payed the
money to upgrade to protools10hd thinking i should just do it
and upgrade everything. Now i cant even download the installer.
i really wish i would have just bought a new drive and started a
whole new lion system, leaving my snow leapord system in tack.
I really blew it.
Please help if anyone else has had similiar issues...

So the problem is? You can't download the PT10 installer?

What happens? How far do you get!

I would start by installing Lion fresh and only upto 10.7.2 which is supported for PT10. Wipe the drive during the install process!! To make sure it is a clean and fresh install.

Then download the PT10 installer again.

Yes i bought 10hd, then when i download the down load manager just throws it into nowhere and nothing happens.
i was really hoping to not have to wipe the drive clean. Plus my lion was a download so there is no disc.
