Help! PT session playing back at double 'chipmunk' speed. GUH????
I am mixing a 24-bit 48k session, and I imported the whole thing into a new 24-bit 96k session for final tweaks and bouncing, as I heard the higher res can slightly enhance the sound of the plug-ins and so forth. Everything seemed to be imported ok, with all the plugin/automation data intact, but when I try to bounce or even playback the new session, it plays back at double (or some extreme rate of increase) speed with that high chipmunk sound. The original 48k session (and others) are playing back fine. I admit I haven't really tried any troubleshooting yet just because this seems so bizarre and I have no clue where to start. Any suggestions? Btw, I'm running PT8LE on a mac if that's relevant. Thanks!

When you imported, you probably forgot to check the SRC box(sample rate conversion) so your 48K audio files are playing at double-speed.
