Upgrading interface without upgrading software?
Currently running 7.3 on an MBox 2 Pro, I'm looking to get an 002 rack. A lot of them sell without the software. Can I run the 002 on the MBox 2 Pro software I have?
Help is much appreciated!

Pro tools software runs on any of the interfaces.
The only difference is you cannot run HD software with LE interfaces and vice versa.

Same goes for M-Powered devices with LE and vise versa. Any "LE" hardware will work with your version of software though.
