Audio regions not viewable in regions list

6.9.2, G5, HDIII . I am working on quite quite a few session right now. I have one session that plays fine but there are no audio regions viewable in the audio regions list. I have selected display all and still nothing shows up in the list. None of the other sessions I'm working on has this problem. Perplexed?

Has nobody seen this problem? Literally, there are no audio regions listed in the audio regions list to the right of the edit window. All of the tracks show active regions and the session plays fine. I tried a save session copy in command thinking the session might be corrupt, but the copied session had the same problem.

Have you tried the troubleshooting tips found in the “sticky thread” at the top of this forum page? In particular, try trashing all drive databases.

You might want to try the above again, but doing it “the other way around.” That is to say… create a new session from scratch and then import your tracks from the seemingly damaged one.

Just for your information.

I am still on 5.1.3 and OS 9.2 - I have the same problem once in a while and never been able to solve the problem....... Hopefully someone can come up with an answer as it's a irritating problem.

You have to select "display auto-created regions" to see the regions PT creates while editing.

Ok so Display auto created regions was selected. I de-selected it (not checked) and all the regions showed up in the list. I've never seen that one before but looks like my session is OK and now I can go on working.
