feature request Color palette

I often click by mistake on a color strip on the mix screen, notably since I decided to work at a higher screen resolution, and as expected this opens the palette floating window
What I would *love* is for some kind of click or double click on any color strip to hide the palette again, instead of having to mouse around sometimes across my screens to go click on the palette itself.

I have not gotten to deep into 6.9 yet but it seems to me that opening the color pallet should require a shift or control modifier to prevent accidental openings like described above.
