Can\'t control an external midi device...

I have a Digi001, with PT 6.4. Before I upgraded from 5.3.1, I never had any problems controlling an external keyboard using the midi-out on my Digi-001. I recently upgraded to 6.4 and for some reason the midi functions just don't seem to work. Can anyone please assist me in trouble shooting this. I have searched endlessly through the user guides, the forums, the archives, the faq sections, and came up with zilch for an answer. I am wondering if maybe there is some driver missing or something from the upgrade that is causing this. Thanks for any assistance you can give me!
