Digi Sync i/o vs Digi Sync HD - PT12HD compatibility
Hi,
I see from this document that the blue sync i/o is not supported but the blue sync HD is kinda supported (when they say haven't tested, I'm presuming like the 192s that they work but they'd rather sell you the purple-faced stuff, feel free to correct me on this) http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...nd-Peripherals How do I tell if I have the Sync i/o or Sync HD? I know it used be on the face plate but then I've seen others that don't have it Thanks D

Digi Test will tell you
I have not seen a face plate that I could not tell the difference Having had both Blue and Gray Sync HDs at the same time, they used the same firmware updates (as apposed to the 2 generations of 192 that had different firmware updaters)
