Default C24/ pro control unit compatibility

Hello, i was wondering if the C24 and the pro control unit was compatible with pro tools 9 LE version. i dont have an HD rig.
I'd hate to buy one of them and not work then find out i have to spend another 10,000 on an HD system.
Thanks

C24 absolutely works. Pro Control is SUPPOSED to work on 9(non HD) according to one of my local dealers, but I haven't yet seen this(anyone else comment???).

Thanks for your help Albee.
I found out by somebody with a pro control unit that it is NOT compatible with pro tools 9 LE. Only pro tools HD.
But, like you said the C24 is compatible with pro tools 9 LE.
Thanks again

Not sure about the accuracy of this statement, since there is no such thing as 9 LE. 9 comes in 2 flavors, HD and non-HD(and Pro Control did not work with any previous non-HD version of PT). Would be nice if maybe someone has actually tried it to offer first hand info(or did this person actually try it??)

I know theres no pro tools 9 LE i just didn't want to confuse anybody from HD to native. I asked somebody on ebay who is selling a pro control unit about this, he said an HD system was required. I dont see why though if its just being hooked up via ethernet cable.
