Default Access Denied issue is getting worse...

...and infinitely more annoying! Between yesterday and today, I have typed out nice long detailed messages to help folks and gotten this message, wasting a lot of valuable time(and killing any chance of actually helping someone). No matter how much I shortened the replies, none went through, despite having successfully posted other replies only minutes earlier. Is there any chance this will ever be addressed, or should I just give up?

I don't think it's just the DUC - I've had the same issue over on Gearspace (used to be Gearslutz) in the same timeframe you're talking about. Haven't had it happen here in quite the while (as he knocks on wood).

Does anyone know whose servers the DUC is running on?

Between Black Friday and now Cyber Monday I'm not surprised there are issues with the web getting hosed.

Perhaps copy and paste your message into Word or Notepad before hitting submit reply. If it goes south, you can try again without having to re-type the message. Not a fix for the problem, but a time saver.

There's a simpler way I've started using the last few days with trying to post comments/replies to YouTube videos: select the text you've typed in and hit copy. Then if/when thing go toes up you just hit reply again and paste in the text. No need for second program.

That's good advice and I have done that several times. This time around, I was too tired and annoyed
