I swear I check on it every morning and I wanted to make a thread on it too.

It's very sad to bump into all those bugs everyday.

do you think cs 3 willl help us HD on pc guys? i'm not counting on it but i hope!

8 is just such a toy it really is not ready for serious use

the whole rtas mess is a main reason why i say its not ready for serious use. yes, rtas has been around for a long time but, its about time they fix it or let it go.

the program is sooooooo fragile. any little thing can cause havoc

i have broken it down as follows.............

i can use my system 7 days straight without any problems, system is pretty much rock solid. next 3 days i have weird problems. they are erratic, seem to come from nowhere, unexplainable. always happen at the worst time, crashes come.vi's cause problems

to me, 7 out of 10 is unstable if anyone thinks otherwise..........
we pay so much for our HD systems we should expect no less then 9.5 out of 10. with the .5 being very minor annoyances

will a cs update be the answer???

3 months is a long time

the midi editor window is still not working correctly
we can't even open reason without a problem

i know of the workarounds to remedy the small list of 2 i listed above
i think we all should from now on not be so keen on using workarounds and start expecting the software to WORK

BAN PIRACY
BAN BROKEN BUGGY SOFTWARE i think i will add that to my signature others feel free to do the same

There's nothing wrong with PT8. Why is a cs updated needed?

Yes it is.......and UNACCEPTABLE to say the least!Sometimes I feel we were conned and B/S'd into upgrading to 8.

A shiny new car looks awesome on the showroom floor........but if the motor is broke then what f##king good is it then?

Problem is that Digidesign never lets us test drive the car before purchase.
