Angry Constant Clock & 6086 errors WHY? WHY? Digidesign PLEASE Answer

Hi I recently upgraded my rig to Digi 003 Rack Factory with Pro Tools LE 8.0
Loving new features of Pro Tools, but constant errors keep coming up forcing me to save , shutdown my computer then boot up everything again ggggrrr.

Errors including are the following:

1. The Operating System held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs frequently, try increasing the “H/W Buffer Size” in the Playback Engine (-6086)

2. Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct.

3. Pro Tools cannot communicate with 003. Please reconnect the unit and press ok. (Umm ok I NEVER touched the Power button, power plug or firewire cable.)

4. Audio Engine play startup deadline was missed.

I never got these sought of errors on my Digi 001. Here’s my current playback engine setup, tell me if it’s ok or tell me a better one.

H/W Buffer Size: 1024
RTAS Processors: 2 Processors
CPU Usage Limit: 85 %
DAE Playback Buffer
Size: Level 2 Cache Size: Normal

Or does my System PC Suck and has issues with it. PLEASE help me

Hmmm....my only thought would be that a Pentium 4 isn't much horsepower for the newer software. I ran my old 001 on one and got along fine with up to about 6.1, but wouldn't think there's enough resources to run 8.
Clocking...have your sync source set to internal or external?

My first thought is one you are not gonna' like. Your system is not strong enough to run PT8 well. That being said, if you want to proceed to try to get out of it what you can, then first post a Sandra report. Instructions are here.

EDIT: Have you tried more than one firewire port and cable?

While you're doing that, remember to NEVER hot-swap a firewire cable.

You should roll back to an earlier version of Pro Tools. You can get alot done in 7.4 with a system like that.

In a word... NO.

The Intel CPU and the Nvidia chipset together are known to be problematic with Pro Tools.

You can still post a Sandra report and see if there is some way to improve things inexpensively.
