PT thinks unused playlists remain.

When I delete tracks, PT thinks unused playlists are still there. I found this when trying to give a new track the name of an unused playlist for a track that had been deleted.

Never experienced this - are you sure the playlists are being removed when deleting the track? Do the unused playlists show up in the Unused Playlists dialogue?

Yes, that's how I know there's a problem. How do these playlists exist when their tracks and associated audio files have been removed from the session?

Confirm how the audio files have been removed from the session, to be very specific of your steps.

Select all tracks, delete. Select all clips in clip list, REMOVE from session. A visibly empty session remains.

Import audio into clip list, drag from list to create new mono track. Duplicate playlist and name it "raw". PT won't allow it, because that name is already being used. Open "Delete Unused Playlists" and see all the unused playlists that were in the session before I deleted tracks and audio.
