HDX Playback engine errors DSP n/a

I'm having some pretty major issues with the HDX engine. Here are some of the errors coming up in order.

Unable to assign output to audition stem.

Playback could not be started because of an engine reset.

Output 1-2 DSP n/a



I uninstalled PT and reinstalled. Same issue. DSI & ProTools prefs deleted. New IO setups.

Mac OS 12.5.1, PT 2022.9 and .10 tested. Mac 2013 trashcan 2.5GHz dual.

Have you run DigiTest?
What chassis are you using?

DigiTest passed
Sonnet 3slot to thunderbolt.

System had been stable for last year until a few days ago.

Problem has gone away after a 3rd full uninstall and reinstall.
