I'm getting confusing messages here.
I'd like to use PTLE on the G4 laptop with my RME cardbus/digiface interface and asio drivers. Does PTLE yet allow the use of asio drivers? Thanks!

There should be no confusing messages.
The answer is NO. Protools LE/TDM/HD software will only work with Digidesign's own propriertary hardware. Period. Damon |

I'll take that as a no then!
Seriously though - a couple of posts were ambiguous as to the use of asio - shame! I believe I did see a suggestion some while ago that Digi was considering adding asio support to PTLE which is why I though it worth a check.. Thanks.

The only ASIO support Digi offers is allowing other applications to make use of DIGI hardware. Not the other way around.
Aren't they just so generous! Damon |

As ever!
They'd make even more money from their software if they followed the rest of the industry and allowed the lower end packages to use an industry standard method of communication! I've still not forgiven them for SDII and MLCD! Cheers. Rod.
