Core Audio X: Live & PT sharing audio interface?

Hi Digi and friends,

With the new Core Audio X drivers, will I be able to use Ableton Live and Protools HD concurrently, both sharing the same audio interface (192 i/o or 96 i/o)?

Could I assign different audio inputs and/or outputs to each application?

If my HD system has two interfaces (192 i/o and 96 i/o), could I assign any of them to the non PT application?

Hello,

Only one application can access Digi HW at a time. Therefore you will have to quit out of Pro Tools to use Live with the core audio drivers and your HD HW.
