Default Randomize MIDI within boundaries of current velocities...

Is there a way in Pro Tools, to take a set of MIDI notes, and randomize their velocities by plus or minus a defined percentage or value?

Just to make sure it's clear... I only want to move the notes I select by say, + or -, by between 1-10 velocity points randomly. So the overall vibe is kept, but the copied and pasted regions aren't exactly the same.

The only thing I've found so far is randomizing by a given percentage, but that only lets me set a range and a percentage. What I described above would do right job.

Of course. I had gotten that far. But there are many different ways to do many different things to velocity in that dialog box.

I did find a way to do what I wanted to do, though it wasn't straightforward, it did what I needed it to do.

I did a combination of two things...

Under Options: "Add" is ticked off with a value of 1.

"Randomize" is checked off with a value of 3.

This slightly randomized everything while moving all velocities up a hair. I'd rather them not have moved at all from their mean velocity, but up 1 wasn't noticeable. Did the trick.
