Annoying pop-ups on the DUC

Many discussion forums have this: you hover the pointer over a thread title f.ex, and a little preview of the first lines in the thread is shown. My problem is, with my setup, on the DUC these little popups are so small, they are unreadable, useless, and just annoying. Other forums have them working much better.

And I can't find a way to make them bigger, or turn them off.

Hmmm, I rarely even notice they are there A bigger screen would help(of course, my face is less than 3 feet from a 32" monitor)

The copyright footer claims in some way that some code on this forum hasn't been updated since..... 2008!!!

As I understand these long running forums, for backward compatibility, especially not losing the older posts and existing functionality, things are updated very slowly if at all.

That means the code for that popup might be old, might not have enough text or nice styling. You're totally right, and I wish it could be improved.

Totally not unrelated but a long shot, AVID thought to make new Lounges in a new Link before they tried to update or prioritize DUC...
