Default Assertion error line 451

Okay so a couple of days ago I updated to macOS Sierra and started getting this error when trying to drag and drop audio into PT (11.3.1).. so due to the support not being there I just flashed my HDD and went back to Yosemite with a fresh install of everything.

I fired up PT after reinstalling all my plugins and what not and got back to work. However, when I tried to drag and drop audio into a session I got the same error!

I can import audio through the File menu so I'm not completely at a loss but was wondering if anyone else had this issue or anyone knows any fixes

Cheers
