PTLE says can't find PDFreference guide in HELP menu

Hi Ed,
This is a common error if you dont have adobe installed,
its in the utils directory on your os cd.

If you do have Acrobat and you still can't access it from the Pro Tools Help menu, then you probably need to do the following...

Make sure it is named exactly like this:
"PT Reference Guide.pdf"
and rename it if necessary.
Pro Tools should have already installed it in the correct location on your hard drive:
Digidesign ->
Pro Tools ->
Release Notes & Documentation ->
PT Reference Guide.pdf

The documents we put up on the website are named as close to the original as possible, but they have _ underscores instead of spaces for downloading and link management. We also may change the name in other ways to differentiate the version number or the translated language.

So if you download an updated or translated version of your original document, you may want to use the same name and location of the original so that it will show up in the Help menu.
