re-record the mix back into protools to a new record track in realtime using an internal buss.

Hi,

You should not be messing with the clocking source to change the speed of a session!! this is something that should be done in the post mix stage. do your mix at the normal speed then import it into a new session and use one of the audiosuite plugins to change the speed...

X-form, Pitch n time, Speed etc. or just use the Digi default time stretch.

Chris

and btw.. what I told you is wrong. You'd be adding twice the speed change. You need to track to an external device so have the speed differential only once, or do what chris mentions, modify the speed on a normally re-recorded file.

cheers
geo

sorry.
