Default Fuse card PAL problem

Hi.
I just swapped a system hard drive from a B&W G3 to a G4 400 and now I can't get color when the Aurora Fuse card is set to PAL.
If I switch the output to NTSC I get color on the external monitor, but of course my pics won't play as they are all PAL.
The hard drives had virtually identical system folders on them.
I have re-seated the card and re-installed the Fuse drivers after discarding all previous extensions and preferences.
I also tried tossing the video out (PAL) extension to see if that would reset things but to no avail.
I have swapped out the video cable as well.
The pics looked bad enough in color and now they are in black and white they are awful.

Any ideas? What have I forgotten?

I know this sounds dumb, but are you sure it's a multi standard t.v.? And is it set to PAL?

Yes - it is a multi-standard TV - it has performed fine until the drive swap.I'm just about to check the internal settings on it...
will let you know.

OK. the TV is set on PAL - it is definitely the output of the card that is stuffed.
Hmmmm..... no word from Aurora on this yet either...

Odd.
I swapped the card with the one that was in the G3 (so now the card is with its original hard drive) and all is fine.
phew.
