Upgrade ProTools LE 6.4 to 6.9: Is it worth it?

I'm considering upgrading from PT LE 6.4 to 6.9. I've spoken to Digidesign and some dealers and the only concrete thing they can tell me is that I'll get for PC is the EQIII plug in.



It sounds like the whole point of the upgrade is to make LE work with the MAC OS-Tiger.

Is this interpretation accurate?

I'm interested in better MIDI functionality and user interface imporvements in ProTools?

Interesting. But what about Device Definitons? Other MIDI friendly programs allow you to operate your instrument seemlessly from the sequencer environment. If I want to change banks and sounds in protools will I still have to consult my Instrument Bank Card to know what sound I'm selecting.

What about MDID views? ProTools gives you the piano roll. What about the score view? For us musicians that's more useable than a paino role. It's nice that you now have tick based editing for audio. But is ProTools ever going to have the MIDI functionality of Nuendo or Sonar within its own environment?
