The driver for the Mbox2 Pro (10.3.3) is installed, and OSX is recognizing it in "Audio Setup" and in System Preferences.
However, I can't get Pro Tools 11 to recognize and use it. When I go to the Setup > Hardware menu, the only thing in the list is "Pro Tools Aggregate I/O" and the Mbox 2 Pro doesn't show up at all. I've tried rebooting and restarting Pro Tools many times. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a newer driver? Is this a bug? Thanks in advance! iMac 3.4GHz Late 2012 8GB RAM OSX 10.8.5 Mbox2Pro (Thunderbolt > FW800 adapter) Pro Tools 11.0.2 |

Hmm... I just tried it with Pro Tools 10.3.6, and that's not working either. Very frustrating!
![]() I can get the Mbox2Pro to play through the System Audio from iTunes, but that's not quite the same. I'd like to have iTunes playing out my system audio / headphone jack, and use the MBox expressly for Pro Tools. Is this just not possible anymore!? |
