how do you monitor your midi gear?hardware or soft?
When you bounce, protools only bounces the output pair you decide.1-2,3-4 etc.
To be able to bounce the midi instrument with audio, your midi units output should go to the inputs of your digi system and you should assign it to the same out as your audio.

You don't even need to record the MIDI tracks to audio, you can just bus them into aux inputs.

Hello:
Ok whats happening is your hearing the midi being played from your soundcard / synth , but your not routing it into protools. I agree with Oz but would like to add that you can record your midi tracks to audio, and then include them in your bounce. Take your soundcard / synth outputs and run them into 3-4 in, for example. Setup a stereo track and record your midi tracks. Now you can add effects ect to the new audio tracks you've created. Hope that helps.
Rob.
