Default How good would the Control 24 be with a digi001?

Sound like a good combination? Of course the mic pres might not be as good as you would like, but has anyone tried it and did you like it?

I also noticed that the Contro24 won't work with the 002.

To tell you the truth I honestly don't know how it would work with the Digi 001. However I worked on the control 24 itself on a tdm system for about 6 months and I absolutely loved it. It is so easy to automate and actually being able to put fingers on faders. I hope that some day I will have enough money to get one myself to work with le. But until then I guess I will have to make due. But someday... someday....., stupid car payments

Maybe it's just me...but I don't understand why you would spend 8000 on a controller to use with 800 dollars worth of hardware and software. Why not either buy a motor mix for your 001 or get the 002 and save 6 or 7 grand?

Again, maybe it's just me...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">no way, dude! there's nothing like having all those motorized faders at your fingertips... anyway, the 001 will be hidden from sight if you had a C|24 and one of those argosy console desks... nice...

It would give me a 32 track digital recording studio with a great integrated 24 track console. I noticed that it doesn't work with the 002 though, that's too bad.

Any other thoughts?
