Has Pro Tools 11.3.1 helped?
Before I install 11.3.1, has anyone seen this update solve any problems you are currently having? The Read Me file doesn't seem to address many solutions to current issues.

Re: Has Pro Tools 11.3.1 helped?
I have constant crashes when using VIs in 11.3.1 again….
Especially when looping a part and letting play….after 7-10 minutes crash!!! This happens from 11.2.2 and so….. Back to 11.2.1 once more….. If you guys have time please check this…open some VIs,make a loop and let it play…see if it crashes after 10 minutes or so…. This MUST be fixed ….. a lot of users are having the same problem (among others) |

When I have time I'll give this a test. I don't do many Vi's, but was doing some tests yesterday on my test rig and have gotten multiple hard crashes from changing VI's. This happens with as little as one Instrument track with one VI loaded. Maybe I'll try going to 11.2.1 for Yosemite, otherwise I'm going to go back to testing on Mountain lion.

Re: Has Pro Tools 11.3.1 helped?
A suggestion, if I may...
Use one of the Avid VIs for your testing to help insure the problem is not related to a 3rd party VI...

11.3.1 have a lot of good stuff. Video engine is much better and pro tools performance is better. Well worth the update.

Re: Has Pro Tools 11.3.1 helped?
I have made an older post about this….I thought it was omnisphere but during tests i found out that crashes happening with other VIs as well….
Crashes began from 11.2.2 and later… Pretty sure this is a major bug and not my system or a a faulty plugin…tested everything …this happens also to my clean test drive with 10.10.2 (tested also on 10.10.0 and 10.10.1) If you guys making the test..load some VIs that you would in normal conditions when making a song or whatever…means that for example load an omnisphere if you have ,ssd4,kontakt etc etc…and let it loop for a while…. |
