Headphone mix ?

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to work on a Pro Control with 192 interface and Protools 9 hd but I can't manage to get a headphone mix up and running.

The talkback works but not the feedback.

I know I'm missing something basic but can't see what it is.

If the talkback works, it means that the problem is not in the headphone patch but in the IO patch..?

I'd appreciate any help possible

tricky without reading the manual: page 18 to 22 on the PDF :

As the connections were made when I got in the studio, and they never had any problem of this kind whatsoever, I guess I didn't watch this side.
My male db 25 is set on audio input 2 instead of input 1, could that be the cause of the whole thing ?

yes the cue ins are on 7/8 of input 1
On input 2 you have the Main ins on 7/8

I tried to switch from input 2 to input 1 but there was no sound in speakers as well so i put it back to input 2

I looked at my outputs, the output 6 goes to my headphones and on Protools I created an output HP on same output, I see the signal on the table going out of 6 but still no sound.

I tried every options on the control room buttons

What am I missing ?

update: I'm on a surround session, but only two speakers are working, on output 7-8. the others dont.
when i plug output 7 to headphones i have sound

RTFM !!!

We can go back and forth forever .

Page 18 to 22 Have the diagram you need .If you want Headphones and surround sound you need to use both DB25 inputs as well as the DB25 output .

I took a snapshot of those page diagrams for a quick reference ,it's not logic so i need to refer to it every time i repatch my setup
