Default Attention Avid - do you NOT want my money...??

Where do I turn to next - well, the forum I guess.

I have 2 x PTHD 9 systems. I want to upgrade to PT10. I want to utilise the 'Standard Support Plan' as advertised here and elsewhere to do the upgrade.

After finding no where to do this on the Avid website, I sent an email to the 'Avid Shop' and got a reply that I need to email; [email protected]

I have emailed '[email protected]' three times over the last 2 weeks, and I still have not got a reply....

I re-emailed the lovely fellow from the Avid shop who replied to me originally, and he said try and try again...

Seriously - does AVID want my money, or are the ignoring me so I will need to pay the ridiculous price for the upgrades in the New Year when this offer expires...

I wonder if I will get a reply to this post....I hope so - anyone??

Hi,

The support plan can only be purchased from your country dealer!! Whoever your Avid dealer is in Oz, They are the one's who will sell and provide the support plan.

But agree they could have made this a lot clearer and easier! They tend to forget that the US is not the entire World!!

Thanks Chris. I'm normally one to do things myself online when possible. It took a call to my local dealer regarding another unrelated product, when he informed me of the process. Like you said, a simple instruction on the Avid website would have saved me the frustration...
