Default Monitors affecting 002 PT LE v7.0

Hi, I recently purchased a DVI to ADC adapter for my G5 desktop so I could use another monitor. However, I wasn't able to rec. arm any tracks and when I did I got a DAE error -9131. When I unplugged the 2nd monitor and the adapter from my machine it all worked well again. What gives? Is there a new update that handles this problem. Has anyone had this before?

Thanks for any help,
Greg
