+1 for 10.15.7 being a solid build with 2021.7. No issues here either in my work, well none that aren’t of my own making.

^ 10.15.7 / 2021.7 solid here too. But video engine is causing half minute beach balls every now and then with mp4 formats. Prores works fine, so this is not a real problem.

Anybody having some heavy load times when importing video ?

On 11.5.1 + PT2021.7 importing a MP4 and its taking forever just to "processsing audio"

Never had this load times before when importing video?
On a MAC PRO (late 2013)

Many people experienced random bugs in 2021.6 which is why 2021.7 came so soon (albeit in august, but release dates may slip for extra testing of something).

2021.7 is working fine here (see sig for system). No crashes or lag. Updated my iMac at the office and PT crashed a few times on me today. It's almost a night and day difference for me.

Same here. And I threw caution to the wind and didn't uninstall 2021.6 first. Went straight into a moderately heavy post mix and no problems so far.

. Yes! 64 IO IS a big deal for live mic inputs etc. for sure-:)
