Visible tracks--pref to control edit page ICON interaction?

Been searching both the general PT ref guide and the D-Command manual for viewing options coordinating tracks visible on the ICON with visible tracks in the edit window. Right now, it's kind of like "paging" down, but incrementally scrolling up. Wondering if there's a way, when I'm "nudging" on the ICON, to always have the left-justified track be at the top of the window in the computer monitor, no matter which direction I'm going.

thoughts anyone? Thanks

P.S. also from the other way, if you scroll down the tracks in the monitor window, have the control surface follow, again with the top track in the window matching the left-most track on the board. As an OPTION--certainly not for everybody(!)

No. The only way to do something similar is to press ctrl/select for a certain channel @ the d-command. This channel will then be the topmost (first) channel in the edit window.

Which window you mean ? Mix or Edit ? I guess you meant Edit window ?
