How safe is it to purchase Protools from Ebay/Amazon sellers?
How safe is it to purchase Protools from Ebay/Amazon sellers? I found a few deals on Amazon/Ebay and others offering Pro Tools 10, 11, 12 Plus ilok. I wanted to know if it was safe to do so, and also what is supposed to be included so i can run my Pro Tools without any issues. I don't really want to pay the regular price but don't want to get screwed.

A number of people have been disappointed, and some have been happy. It depends on the seller and the type of deal offered. If you don't understand the ins and outs completely, stay with an authorized seller.

Always go with someone reputable. Places like AudioDeluxe and Zen Pro Audio that have amazon and ebay storefronts.
