PT11.2.1 crashes on import AAFs

AAF import crashes PT regularly. On bigger AAFs I think (about 2 or 3 GB).

Anyone else?

Where are the AAFs coming from and are you getting an error message?

We had an issue where we couldn't import some AAFs into Pro Tools 11, but they worked fine on PT 10.

Have you tried importing the AAF into Pro Tools 10?

They are from Media Composer v8

They import fine into 11.1.2 from both Isis shared storage and local disks. But they crash out to the desktop with no error message on v11.2.1 so that it has to be relaunched.

Have you tried going track by track to see if something in the AAF is corrupt?

Nope. It imports fine into 11.1.2!

These aren't "exotic" AAFs by any stretch of the imagination and its happened with enough different ones from different projects - I've trouble shot the problem as far as 11.2.1 and that's as far as i need to go. Just need it fixed!

Yup, a nearly 5GB AAF caused 11.2.1 to hang for me. PT10 opened it pretty quickly.
