I just started a new thread on this but just noticed that my issue is a known problem and this is affecting other users of various control surfaces. The first part of this thread shows a fix but dates back to July. Is this still a workaround for S3 (which I am using)?

There's a new official release out in your Avid account and download center. This work around is OK too as its virtually identical.

I actually did what Ryan mentioned above and the issues went away.

I'll try the new EUCON Workstation Unified Install 2021.6.1 offical and see what happens.

Tried this as the new official release yeilded the same problems I mentioned above. Will report back.

When I try to install the update, I receive the following message ”The installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.” I tried uninstalling Eucon first but received the same error.

Does the security update needs to be installed before Eucon can be updated to this version?

I've had all manner of problems since restoring from a Time Machine backup, to the point where I need to re-install the operating system. Before I do that, I'd like to be sure there are no issues with the patch so I don't wind up right back where I started.

Where did you get it from. The official release is in MyAvid accounts or the Download Center. please use that installer. Make sure you are using the right version PC vs Mac.

I downloaded "EUCON Workstation Unified Install 21.6.1 (Mac)" from the Download Center. I have since downloaded it again but received the same installation error.

It could be related to the issues I am having with my Mac. Since I restored it using Time Machine, many file types will not open from my internal HD but they will open from an external one. I tried installing Eucon from an external drive but it didn't help.
