Any one installed this yet? I'm assuming you have install the NI program and then authorize it online? How many auths do you get? Is there a iLok option?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with bit torrenting the content and leaving server bandwidth for authorization only.

What about the the customers who just purchased the Virtual Instrument Pack pre NAMM? I bet they are all ecstatic! I guess timing really is everything.

I finally got it D/L and installed. Yes, the player is NI and is installed on-line through their "service-center" which is accessed through the player. I don't believe there is an iLok option for either the player or the SS Drum samples. SSD allows two simultaneous installations.

Kinda what I figured. I haven't run any NI stuff in about 2 years and wanted to know if anything had changed. I'll wait till I'm done switching over computers then. Thanks

Sorry, I thought you were refering to the 'free software that looks remarkably like the paid software', variety of torrent. My bad .

Cheers,

Scott

The Reason it is Only $20 is that You get all the sounds only through Kontact, there are no Wav or Gog Files to use with Drumagog or any other sound replacer but you get all for the $99 tag.

On another forum they (SSD) said they would supply the Wav/GOG files to anyone who requested them as part of the package. Their experience is that the vast majority don't actually have a use for them and, as you know, their servers were already clogged due to the respnse to the "no-brainer"

I'd send a polite note to them asking for the WAV/GOG files in a few days after the smoke clears.
