Default Pro Tools Corrupt On Cloned Bootable Drive

I'm on Pro Tools 2023.3.0 On Ventura. Mac Pro 2019. Today I tried cloning my 1 TB Mac HD over to a bootable new 2 TB SSD that was formatted APFS GUID Partition Map using Carbon Copy Cloner. Everything cloned fine and boots to the new drive fine. But when I launched Pro Tools I saw a new window that said "Verifying Pro Tools" and a status bar that showed progress for about 5 seconds, then it flagged that the Pro Tools application was corrupt and should be moved to the trash. Not a system error but an Avid window being displayed. Any thoughts on what Pro Tools verified that it didn't like? Any thoughts?

Cloning boot drives is quickly becoming a thing of the past on Mac and can be fraught with difficulties in the latest operating systems; hence the need to use the Legacy Bootable Clone function in CCC.

But one thing that I have noticed in the past with Pro Tools is if you have both volumes mounted (the old OS drive and the new clone) and they have the same name, Pro Tools freaks out and has major issues.

Great info from Scotty. And if that doesn't solve it, your best bet is most likely to do like the message says(drag the PT application to the trash) and re-install Pro Tools. It will not affect anything else(like sessions of plugins).

In my case, I used migration from my latest TM source to my external SSD.
Then I reinstalled the Mac OS (13.2.1) to that drive.
Everything worked without reinstalling PT.
