I just setup a Stream Deck+ with DADman and a MTRX Studio. So far so good. I got the basics going, now have to delve into the details.
One thing I noticed from the photo: if you setup the keycap labels from the plugin settings (rather than globally), you can replace A/B/C/1/2/3/etc with custom labels, and also have distinct labels for each layer.

Thanks! Yes I have already done that. It's been an evolving process over the past two days. :)

I've got three layers going so far - Control Room, Headphones 1, Headphones 2.

I'm currently trying to setup a "Surround" layer where I can solo/cut each speaker, etc. That is proving to be a bit of a mind game with the DADman part. :)

Two approaches for this: create a fold down with some speakers absent, or a new output with some absent.

Thanks, good tip on the FoldDown. I've been messing with the latter approach with a lot of unexpected results.

I actually use the latter approach because I didn't think of the fold down approach and it's fine, except it's a bit more error prone setting up because you need to copy all the EQ and trim settings from the main output. Fold downs you can simply just leave the unused speakers absent (as distinct from 0dB, of course).

DADman is powerful but not always obvious.

How do you get to the plugin settings?

Open the StreamDeck app from the menu bar, select a button and select the tab for the layer you wish to edit. On a plane otherwise I’d make a screenshot.

I had an easy time doing this. Here's how I have it setup:

and then in DADman layer

Solo/mute (actually element active/inactive) is under Monitor set > Output Set > and then you get the individual speaker options.
