Depends on the kind of session you're running. Silicon Native is really great, but Rosetta performance (on my Mac Studio Ultra) is very, very, very good. Heads and shoulders above my previously modded-out Mac Pro 5,1.

I agree w/massivekerry, PT 2022.12 and 23.3 runs great on M1/M2 thru Rosetta. The M macs are simply so powerful. I can't give you hard evidence, but switching rosetta off gives PT a little, but noticeable extra snappiness overall.

I just wish they would give an ETA. I do understand its a big job. Alotta plugins to go through. Just nice to have an idea. Is it 2 months or a year?

I agree. I haven't taken advantage of any of their recent sales because I want to make sure they are committed to getting all of their existing plugins compatible (without the use of Rosetta).

Same. I stopped buying from plugin makers who haven't updated their plugins to AAX Apple ARM. If they want me to buy more plugins from them, they've got to show some support for the plugins I already own.

Every day, a PA sale or new product in my inbox. You know what I *DON'T* see every day (or any day)? Notification about the release of the Native versions of PA products.

The very few which have made the transition I had to discover on my own, by just "updating all" and trying them.

This is why conglomerates are a problem for end users. Customer service is dumped in the weeds.

I am waiting for the brainworx AAX m1 updates as well. I went to the PA website to look for a friendly notice about the timeline and it's not obvious. I looked for a place to email the company about it and it led me down a funnel of premade answers. I was hoping for a chat or an "email us" portal and it was hard to find in the few minutes between sessions I had. I love and teach their plugins all the time but this slower rollout is frustrating. PA or brainworx .... If you are listening..... let us know what the progress is. :)
