Default Lock Avid Mix to Pro Tools 10 (Windows 7 64)

I had inconsistent connection problems that everyone complains about on this forum.
I resolved those problems by using a switch on Ethernet port#1 for my two Mixes and by turning off windows firewall while using ProTools 10.

If i use only protools, the mixes remain connected for hours. If i use another app, they disconnect and i have to uncheck/check Eucon control in the peripherals menu to reconnect.

How do you lock Avid Mixes to only control Protools?

You can lock the mix to pro tools in the eucon app. I think it's under the assign tab but I'm not sure (I'm not in front of my DAW currently).

you are correct. It's on the Assign tab.
I tried that before, but it did not work.
Strangely or luckily enough, it worked tonight.
I was able to lock both avid mixes to ProTools.

After my initial problems, it looks like the best way to run Avid Artist series is to disable firewall & Internet connections.
thanks again.
