Default Record disengages when press play on D-Command

Hi,

Don't know whats happened and can't get back to how it was.

Normally i would arm a track for record, press record on transport on D-Command to engage record then press play and it would go into record. But now it doesn't go into record.

If i select record on the transport and then use space bar instead of the play button then it does go into record

Never had this issue in over 20 years lol and can't work out why record is dissingaging when i use the play button but works when i use the space bar to start!

Default Record dissingases when press play on D-Command

What happens if you hold the record button down when you press play instead of pressing them separately?

It’s been years but I thought this is what I did when working on the D-Control.

Hi Jimmy,

The same thing happens. Record and play do everything else except this. Just started happening one day. If I use the transport in PT it works how expected just not from the control surface. I don’t recall any settings in the control surface that would change this either.

I have noticed that the transport play button on the CS will also start playback from a different position to the space bar sometimes but I’ve gone through all the settings for timeline follows selection and everything else I can think of and all the various link unlink options near top left of the screen.
