Well, I certainly didn't see any slowdown.
Could it perhaps have to do with the fact that I had the session on the internal flash drive? 2000/2500 mb/s.
Or perhaps that I have a 3 gb disk cache?
Life-long audio enthusiast and small studio owner. Retired.
Mac Mini 2018, six-core 3.2gHz i7, 32 gb RAM.
Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd gen, Dynaudio BM6's, Command 8 and iPad w/Avid Control.
Pro Tools 2020.12.1, Mac OS 10.15.7.
