Tempo Marker instability persists- crashes
system:
PT 5.1.3 Mix 2X SC II TDM Mac B&W G3 550 384 MB Ram 75 MB allocated to PT app 75 MB allocated to DAE I'm getting annoying crashes when creating/editing tempo changes. The problem becomes worse when there are more tempo changes in a single project; however it is unpredictable and has me saving before I create every tempo change. (This gets to be a hassle when I have hundreds of tempo events in a single project!) Upon adding a new tempo event I get an "error type 2" and ProTools quits out. I've seen this on other systems besides this one. It seems to be less frequent than in previous software versions, but it's still annoying nonetheless. Hopefully this one has gotten patched up in the big move to 10! But I felt that it was worth pointing out again because it's been around for as long as I can remember. |
