You don't have to yell. Also, explaining a little more about your set up would help. Mic to Pre amp to mixer to Mbox? Or Mic to Mbox?

Which MBox are you using? I have an MBox 2 Mini set up with a mixer and it works fine. What audio routing options do you have on the Behringer?

I believe it has 2 Main Out (L/R). Those should be put IN to the MBox's L/R Inputs. THen have the MBox L/R outputs go to your monitors. That way the MBox controls the monitors. If you use an audio input on the Behringer (Mic or instrument, say), then the fader on the mixer will control input to the MBox, but you also have input gain controls on the MBox, so you need to pay attention to the gain stack to find the best over-all level for input to PT.

If you can provide a bit more detail on your set-up, might be able to help more.

Microphone plugs into desk, goes to mBox input via direct outs, groups or auxillary sends as a line level

OR

mic goes directly into mBox as mic input.

Outputs from mBox connect to channel inputs on mixer as lines.

Monitors connect to monitor output from mixer.

As spinning disc said bit more set-up info would be good.

A:)

What exactly do you hope to accomplish with the mixer? Yes, your answer can affect the recommendation.

Absolutely!!^^^ In any case, your mixer outputs are LINE level and should go into the LINE inputs of the Mbox(quarter inch) and NEVER into the XLR inputs. As flommer alluded to though, using a cheap mixer preamp in place of the cheap Mbox preamp may be adding a lot of hardware for little or no improvement in sound(but maybe you just want to have a bunch of things patched and ready, which makes plenty of sense). For those considering buying a mixer, I would recommend spending the cash on a better interface instead
