The Mbox2 only has 2 inputs. You'll have to use the line ins with the external mixer.

going from the mixer to the mbox (for recording), or coming out from the mbox for your playback?

From the mixer to the mbox for recording. i have all my levels up but when i'm recording my audio waves in the track are really small like if it recorded at a low level.

I wonder if it's your wave view. If you are on a mac I believe you can hit [OPTION]+[A] for everything to go back to normal. I'm not sure what it is on PC, maybe [ALT]+[A] But if your audio is actually coming in low from the mixer to the mbox then it may be a physical connection issue like cables.
I'm assuming you're using 1/4 inch.
And do you know if your cables are balanced or unbalanced.
Maybe the panning coming out of the mixer.

it could be so many things your just gonna have to experiment with it for a little while I think...

if you have any more details that may help us to help you, let us know.
good luck

Sounds like a you may have a channel pad engaged or some type of level mismatch between the mic and the mixer or the mixer and the MBox.
