Default New Acoustic Treatment. Anyone seen this yet?

Like many of you, I have found a cost effective way to build Bass traps for my square studio room using 703 and wood frames. But, I saw an ad in the new SOS and thought this looked pretty interesting and affordable:

Prime Acoustic

I especially liked the London Z14 package. It is not for everyone, but the reviews are solid.. could be a good option for those who don't want to build...

Have a look..

man, pretty interesting concept for the studio in a box package, but I do not see pricing anywhere on their website.... I have found a cheap alternative recently in the aisles of my local convenience store. I found that if you take the padding that you put on a mattress ($8 for a sheet) and take a fine point knife or something to this degree to poke air holes in it so it can breathe a bit and absorb, that it does the job pretty well. Much cheaper to get three or 4 rolls of that stuff for echo control than the auralex stuff.. I know it has a little reflection yet caus of the closed pores in the padding, but it works pretty damn good to poke a few million tiny holes in it in my opinion and spend $32 instead of $200...
