SOLVED!
I re-installed EuCon and now all works. We'll see if it continues to work when I turn everything on tomorrow... 😬

I"m in the same boat. I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra coming in June.

Pro Tools 2202.4 just announced that Mac Studio is now a supported system (still on Rosetta II).

AVID web page on MacOS support is showing that DADman supports Big Sur but shows Monterey as "Not Supported Yet".

I'm also waiting for
- Dolby DAPS on Monterey (supports Big Sur).
- Source Nexus on Monterey (supports Big Sur)
- Exponential Audio Stratus 3D/Symphony 3D on Monterey (supports Big Sur - but Pro Tools Expert has rumors they run on Monterey).

Comments from folks saying that DADman runs on M1 Max laptop probably not helpful unless they've upgraded to Monterey. M1 laptops shipped on Big Sur.

This link is kind of helpful though I can't say its totally up to date. It does have some helpful links where you can check up on things.

AFAIK, the MacBook Pro M1 Max and M1 Pro did ship with Monterey. Only the first gen M1 laptops shipped with Big Sur. By the time they introduced the Max and Pro, they were on Monterey.

Monterey support on both Intel and Apple Silicon will be available in next release of DADman due out soon. We used a beta version at NAB in connection with the launch of our new babies AX64 and Core 256.

I asked Dolby about DAPS:

and they said:

Hi,

The Production Suite will run on Monterey. It has been "smoke tested" and no issues were uncovered but it is not yet fully qualified. If you need to proceed with a new M1 mac you should feel confident it will work.

Best,
Adam

I've been using DADman 5.5.0 on Monterey on a Mac Studio fairly successfully with my MTRX and can confirm that it works well enough to use, but I definitely notice some small issues.
- It NEVER recognizes my unit when I power the computer up. I have to click through 5 or 10 "unit not found" messages on DADman first. That said, once it finds the MTRX it's running great.
- The odd time the program just shuts down and needs to be reopened but it's not a major workflow disruptor and always opens back up without issue.

As for ProTools compatibility that's a whole other issue I won't get too far into, but I will say that it does work, but not all that well some of the time. Only go down that road if you get your kicks from extreme frustration or MUST replace a computer because it's dead (why I'm in this dumb boat).
