Default I don't like the smoky colored shadow effect.

On Pro Tools 8. I have been playing around with it, and it's cool and all but I really miss the "negative colors" when you select a region or part of a region to edit and mess with. The shadows underneath the waveforms are not very impressive and when I zoom in to look at the waveform in a larger size it's still the same thing but only bigger.

I went through the reference and looked to see if I can bring that "negative" effect back.... but no avail.

I am still using my 7.4 for my sessions right now, and playing with 8 on the side.

Anybody know of a way to take the highlighted regions back to their original ways?

Thanks in advance!!!
-Doug

For now it's the way it is. Digi is receiving requests for a classic view option, we’ll see. I will say though the more I work with it the less it bothers me.

An afterthought;

You can go to view> waveforms and uncheck outlines for a cleaner waveform view.

I'll give that a try. Thanks bro!!! The Classic View would help a ton.
