Default How can I reset 002 after a 48k session?

I always work in 48k 24 bit sessions usually clocking off of my digimax. Thats all fine and dandy but when I'm done with my session and my clients are all gone and I just want to listen to some music on my comp, I have the problem that the 002 never resets back to the normal 44.1 when playing music out of the standard Windows media player. I get lots of pops and on occasion it sometimes speeds all my music up to 48k(which can be quite funny sometimes).

The only solutions I have found so far have been to turn the comp all the way off or to go back in to PT wait for it to initialize than manually set the clock back to internal and 44.1. Is there a quicker easier way to do this? It's just so dang annoying.

I remember several years ago when I had my 001 there was a way to get into the hardware settings without having to open pro-tools and wait for all the pluggins to load. What happened to that?

Anyone?

Calvin,
Make sure that the digimax is set to 44 if it is on.. If not, turn it off, then try. That is all I do as well..
